Cooking basmati rice is easier than you think! We cook rice using the absorption method (meaning you cook the rice and water together and when it’s done the water is gone!).
Traditionally you should rinse the rice before cooking it, but we seldom do just due to time (and so far we’ve never complained)!
Cooking rice is all about – 1 rice : 2 water – bring to boil, turn to very low simmer, cover for 12 mins then leave to rest. Fluff with a fork and you are good to go!
