Ingredients: 300 g macaroni; 50 g bread (stale or crusty); 3 rashers smoked streaky bacon; 1 cloves garlic (crushed); 1 tbsp dried thyme; 150 g cheddar cheese (mature preferably, grated); 50 g butter; 40 g flour; 1 tsp English mustard; 600 ml milk; 100 ml ale (or lager); 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce; 100 g brie (cut into 1cm cubes); 100 g mixed baby leaf salad (bag); 15 ml olive oil; 15 ml vinegar (any)
