Hi I’m Theo and welcome to FiveDinners!

I’m a chef, author of five cookbooks, a Masterchef semi-finalist and dad to three kids.

Dinner times used to be stressful; not knowing what to cook each night, constantly nipping to the shops, spending too much on food… We started meal planning and couldn’t believe the results!

We spent less on food shopping, we were eating better and the stress of choosing what to cook stopped!

I create all the recipes and they’re what we eat at home. They’re easy to cook, well balanced and use fresh ingredients (with a few cheats – we like easy!)

Kitchen buddy texting service! Seriously?

We spent a long time thinking about this! We asked ourselves what would be one thing that we would really, really, love and that was our own private chef, or Kitchen buddy.

Members get a mobile phone number that they can text questions or ask for help in real time. Theo is manning the phone every weekday between the hours of 5-7pm!

What are the recipes like?

Our recipes are inspired by cuisines from around the world but all of them are easy to make, take less than 30 minutes (most of them) and are meals the whole family will enjoy.

What are the meal plans like?

Our weekly meal plans consist of at least one meat-free dinner, one fish supper and then a mix of recipes giving you and your family a well balanced week of meals.

Are the recipes healthy?

We believe in maintaining a well balanced diet with food being cooked with fresh, clean produce and avoiding processed ingredients.

How much does it cost?

Start with 1 week free trial to test us out and then memberships start from as little as £4.16 per month (you’ll save a lot more than that on shopping!).

Our chefs (mainly Theo! :)) are creating new meals plans for you each week PLUS you get access to an exclusive range of members-only features designed to make your life easier in the kitchen and provide you with support when you need it!

No you’re not! And no it isn’t! You can cancel at anytime – we’re here to make life easier for you.

Are the meal plans just for families?

No way! Whether you’re feeding just yourself, a couple or a family of four or ten, you can change the serving size on every recipe and we’ll automatically change the ingredients and shopping list for you!

By default all our recipes serve four.

I am Vegan, Flexitarian, Vegetarian…

We try to follow a Flexitarian approach; including some vegetarian and vegan recipes as standard but also offer advice on making other recipes as vegan or vegetarian friendly as possible.

Please note; we don’t yet offer strictly vegetarian or vegan meal plans – but we’re working on it! 🙂

So you choose what I’m eating every week? I mean I like it but..

We took the decision that most people might be like us; they just don’t want the headache of choosing what to cook each week – so we’re doing it for you!

Of course if you don’t fancy one week you can browse previous weeks meal plans or you can browse our recipes and create your own meal plan and we’ll automatically generate your shopping list – simples!
